Tadhg MacCarthaigh U16 Girls played the semi final of the County on Monday evening last in Kilmurray versus Donoughmore. They were very unlucky to lose by a single point on a scoreline of 3-9 to 3-8. Some fantastic football was played and after falling behind by 8 points at one stage, they fought back well to narrow the margin. The ladies club is very proud of their achievements in getting so far this year. Well done to the trainers, players, parents & all involved in getting them to this stage. The future of Tadhg MacCarthaigh Ladies looks bright. They must yet play Kilnameela in the West Cork final.
