The quiz team of Charlie McCarthy, Ellen McCarthy, Olivia Collins and Susanna Keohane represented the club and the Carbery division in the Scor na nOg county final in Pairc Ui Rinn on January 31st. The format this year was changed to a 100-question table quiz. The team did themselves and their club proud, coming second behind Aghabullogue.

The Carbery Scor na bPaisti finals took place in Ballydehob on Sunday, February 9th. The club was well represented, taking part in six out of ten categories. Three teams came home with first prize, in the figure dancing, solo singing and quiz categories. The figure dance group of Mareid Crowley, Aoife Kingston, Clodagh McKennedy along with the quiz team of Conor McCarthy, Eugene Daly and Mark Cotter as well as Roisin Kingston in solo singing, now go on to represent the Carbery division in the County semi-finals in Ovens on March 4th.

Congratulations too to Helena Collins,Caitriona Keohane, Maeve Kingston, Aoife Kingston and Mareid Crowley, who got secong prize in the instrumental music. Well done also to Eugene Daly and a very young Emma Hegarty, who represented the club in the recitation and the solo dancing competitions respectively, both were very unlucky not to receive a prize.
