Ladies Football:
Wednesday, 7th August saw the Tadhg MacCarthaigh
ladies depart from this season's county junior championship after a sea saw
battle with Dunmanway.  After a hugely disappointing opening performance to the championship the ladies knew a must win game against the always competitive Dunmanway was going to be a tricky task.  None the less the ladies showed a
huge appetite for the job at hand, the game ebbed and flowed throughout but
Dunmanway edged proceedings with the final result 1-11 to 2-03.  The ladies remain in the hunt for the West Cork championship, their opening game is at home to
Rosscarbery with a date to be confirmed.
A huge thank you to all those who helped out and attended the ladies
recent family BBQ.
