The Junior A footballers were in action last Sunday in Aughaville when they played Kilmichael in the County league and with an impressive second half display ran out deserving winners on a final scoreline of  0-14 to 0-7. Round three of the Championship is fixed for the weekend of  7th-9th July, with the draws to be made this week.


The under 14 footballers had two recent league games down in Beara with very different results. They were well beaten by a very strong Castletownbere team while they recorded a comfortable win against Urhan last Sunday in Eyeries.


The under 12 team are having a very good league Campaign with victories over Kilmeen, Ilen Rovers and last week defeated neighbours Clan Na Gael on a scoreline of 4-11 to 4-5, while their only defeat was against Adrigole.


Cul Camp: The Cul camp goes ahead this year from the 10th to 14th July, this is a great week of fun and fitness, application should be made to club officers as soon as possible.


Cork:

The Munster Senior football Final against Kerry goes ahead on next Sunday 2nd July in Killarney. The club will again be represented by the O Driscoll brothers Colm and Kevin while Brian is recovering from injury. The lads are wished all the best as Cork attempt to upset the odds against the old enemy.


Lotto:

The Lotto Jackpot of € 3,700 was not won last weekend. Numbers drawn were 11,20,35. .Consolation winners were Michael Leahy, Adrian O Neill, Cathal Hegarty. Next week’s jackpot will be € 3,850 with the draw at Aughaville.
