The under  14 footballers after  defeating neighbours  Clan Na Gael  in the quarter final of the Championship  progressed to a Semi-Final meeting against Naomh Aban which was played last Saturday 3rd Sept: in Inchigeela. A gale force wind was blowing as the game started and with the aid of that wind Caheragh built up a ten point lead by half time but also missed many scoring chances. Noamh Aban took over in the second period and in a hectic finish the sides ended all square 4-6 to 2-12. Extra time was needed to separate the sides and when Caheragh scored two early goals they pushed on for a deserved victory on a final scoreline of 7-7 to 2-14. They have now qualified for the  Final against a very strong Urhan side, this final goes ahead next Sunday in Adrigole at 12.00 noon, support for this young side would be appreciated.
